2017-2018 Season

We are ready to kick off the new season! We have 14 teams this year! Our first game is October 15th starting at 4:30pm.

There are a few updated FIBA Rules this year:

Players now only need 2 total Unsportsmanlike and Technical fouls before being disqualified. (1U and 1T is now Disqualifying, the player must leave the game)
There is a new interpretation for Traveling. The rule has relaxed a bit for a couple situations making them legal. This is mostly to allow a better "Flow" for fast breaks and spin moves.
Finally, ANY foul that is not deemed "An Attempt for the Ball" is an automatic Unsportsmanlike Foul.

We are running a Ladder League again this year. This, unfortunately, means you may not play all teams before playoffs and you could meet a new team in the playoffs. This is to keep the league as competitive as possible within a teams skill level. You, however, will not meet the same team within 4 games so some variety will happen.

League Management

I have implemented a League Management System called Zuluru. I will be scheduling all games within the software and using some of the other features. Players are strongly encouraged to register and complete a player profile. Captains will be assigned a team and be able to invite their players and build their team.

Spares List

The spares list has been refreshed and changed this season. In order to be on the spares list, you will need to register with an account. After registering, you will be able to create a profile. Once completed, goto the "Teams" section and join the "Available Spares" team. Captains will be able to see you on the list and contact you if needed. Be sure to show a form of contact in your profile.

2016-17 Season

Hey Everyone,

I have just booked the gym for the new season. I booked for a possible 12 teams. We play from Oct 16th to March 19th.

If you are interested in registering a team, send me an email. The fee this year is $1800. There is a deposit of $300 due by September 1st, after which I will be dropping availability as needed.

I am working on implementing a League Management system. More details to come.

I will refresh the spares list soon to keep it current for those looking for a team this year. With the 12 available spots, we can try to make a couple teams from the spares list to fill in the league if there are enough people interested.
